Frequently Asked Questions

I booked online, now what?

We are so excited to work with you. I will be reaching out to you soon to gather any additional information I may need to access the property. If you need to reach out sooner please call or text me at 239-989-9221.

How can I prepare for the session?

When I arrive I will walk around the property and spend some time identifying the most important aspects to highlight for potential buyers. You will get significantly more out of my services if the property is entirely ready when I arrive. To get the most out of your professional real estate photoshoot, follow the real estate photography pre-shoot checklist below. It will help ensure that the property is photo-ready and welcoming. Properties that may need a little more TLC upon our arrival will require more time. Additional time is billed at $150.00 per hour. Photography and package prices include minor staging (move a trash can, straighten a pillow, etc...) but do not include cleaning and major staging such as furniture relocation or removing excessive amount of personal belongings. The property should be clean, tidy and photo ready. If properties are not ready $150 per hour staging fee will be billed.

There are pets in the home, can they remain there for the session?

We are animal lovers ourselves and can't wait to meet your fur babies. However, whenever possible it is our preference that they not be in the home during this time. This is a great opportunity to take them out for a walk and get some fresh air. If this is not possible, we suggest putting the animals in one room during the session. There are a few reasons for this,

1. Excited animals can jump on or accidentally bump equipment causing damage.

2. It can be difficult to edit if a pet wonders into a frame during a walk through video or 3d tour.

How long is the session?

The size of the listing will determine the time of each service we provide. Photos typically take an hour for every 1500 SQFT. Virtual tours and videos take about an hour every 2000SQFT. Aerial photography usually takes about 20 minutes.

When will I receive my photos?

Generally photos are delivered within 24 hours unless extensive editing is requested such as virtual staging and virtual twilights.

How will my photos be delivered?

Your photos will be uploaded to a website and a link will be sent to you via email. You will have the option to download the images in multiple sizes and formats. If you prefer a different method to receive your photos just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

How will weather impact my session?

Here in sunny South West Florida, weather can be unpredictable especially in the summer months. In the case of heavy rain or tropical storm/hurricane, I will contact you to reschedule. It is not an issue if the weather is cloudy, because we will replace skies in Photoshop. If it begins to rain while on the session, I will get as many photos as possible and return once it has stopped raining to obtain the rest.

Do I have to attend the session?

The quick answer is no, providing we have full access to the property through a lock box, homeowner, or access code. We actually prefer an empty home to limit shadows or someone accidentally walking into a shot.

Are you compliant with the FAA for commercial drone work?

Yes, we are part 107 certified and insured, and we follow the guidelines set by the FAA.
Some areas will not permit drone use. Other areas will require FAA clearance prior to the photoshoot. In the event we cannot fly a drone in your area, we will refund the full amount. However, this is rare and we can usually receive a waiver to fly prior to arriving on location from the FAA if the property is in a restricted area.

What is your cancellation policy?

It is vital for all parties to show up at the designated time. In order to provide the best customer service experience we need to arrive to the next appointment in a timely manner. However, we understand there are mitigating circumstances that can arise. Therefore, we try to extend as much grace as possible and work with you to reschedule when it is unavoidable.  Communication is key!
No-Shows or failure to provide access will result in a 25% fee. If the Client requests to reschedule or cancels fewer than 24 hours before the agreed upon session time, a 25% rescheduling fee will be applied. In the event that the weather conditions are not desirable, the session will need to be rescheduled and the reschedule fee will be waived. Due to liability and equipment damages, this decision will be at Photographer’s sole discretion.
